Timberlake signs new licensing agreement for furniture line

Bob Timberlake Inc. has entered into a licensing agreement with Century Furniture for the World of Bob Timberlake furniture line.

The move marks the end of a 20-year partnership between Bob Timberlake Inc., which is based in Lexington, and Lexington Home Brands.

“We interviewed over 15 companies, beginning in the fall of 2009 in anticipation of our license with Lexington expiring,” Dan Timberlake, the son of Bob Timberlake and the general counsel for Bob Timberlake Inc., said Thursday. The deal with Lexington will expire Dec. 31.

He said that his father has been busy designing furniture and home furnishings that will be introduced in April through Century Furniture and several new home-furnishing licensees in bedding, textiles and accessories.
