We have been blessed here in North Carolina this fall with a most glorious showing of fall folliage, I hope you have taken time to notice that there is nothing more beautiful than nature. Think about your favorite season and how it may translate into your interior environment.
Begin with neutrals. The neutrals of nature include blue, green, sand and brown. These colors serve as a backdrop to any season or space. Add punches of color in rugs, lamps, pillows and accessories. Rusts, orange, reds and gold for a Fall pallete. White, silver, gray and brilliant blues create visions of Winter, add some black into this pallete for drama. Pastels, purple and yellow usher in Spring. If you are a Summer person- you will be more comfortable in surroundings with more saturated colors of orange, green and blue.
